Synopsis…

Hi, my name is Liv Michaels (she/they)!

I’m so glad you stopped by to check out my website. I graduated from New York University in 2022 where my primary studio was the Atlantic Acting School before I transferred to Stonestreet Studios to focus on my love of film and television. Most recently, I was in Off-Broadway productions such as Little Women (Meg March) and Hamlet (Rosencrantz). I have also been working on short film scripts while pursuing my masters at Pace University in Educational Theatre. I’m looking forward to focusing on my craft and finding myself along the way. 

I’m originally from a small town in the Detroit suburbs, but I relocated to NYC for school and never looked back. As an autistic lesbian with a disconnect to the idea of womanhood, my small town felt even smaller. Although I have no doubt that NYC is where I’m meant to be, Wayne, Michigan will always be home. 

I am passionate about creating the art I wish I had growing up. I long to showcase characters that are also neurodivergent, queer, or even just a little bit outside the box. When I had nowhere to turn as a kid, I had media to surround myself with and find comfort in; I hope that someday I can give that escape to someone else through my work.

This is just the beginning of a beautiful story. Now, let’s get writing.
